After viewing a recent episode of Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures highlighting the wildlife here, a bit of interest was stirred. A quick search produced this article with a deeper look into the Namibian coast and all it has produced in the decades gone by. Quite an adventure it would be, I believem, to fly across the sand dunes in an ultralight aeroplane and set down on the Skeleton Coast for a day of exploration. Great article explains much of the region's history.
